As a marathon runner and registered dietitian with an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Sports Nutrition Diploma, I have over 10 years of clinical experience providing the latest evidence-based sports nutrition information to my clients. My experience includes individualized nutrition planning for varsity athletes at the University of Guelph and McMaster, as well as performance nutrition counselling for endurance athletes including marathon runners, triathletes, and cyclists. I also apply a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance-Based Behavioural approach to weight management. My other areas of expertise include bone health, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal issues, weight management, iron deficiency and endurance.

As a New Balance Sponsored Distance Runner, I apply my clinical knowledge in my own training and have won 5 Canadian Championships in Road Racing, Track, and Cross Country. I was also the first Canadian in the Boston Marathon, won a Bronze Medal in the 2015 Pan Am Games Marathon and I have set 6 course records in road racing.

I started running in grade 4 from the encouragement of my teacher and fell in love with the sport. Running is a part of my every day lifestyle and it helps me provide better nutrition services to my clients because it helps me with energy levels, focus and overall health so that I can be as consistent as possible each day. I am still competing in marathon distance and still really enjoy the challenge of performance.

My primary goal as a coach is to help you achieve the healthiest lifestyle that you can maintain long-term while still enjoying your life. By working in collaboration, I want to ensure that you are eating a well-balanced diet and fuelling your body for a healthy active lifestyle. If you are an athlete, I want to help you optimize your performance goals through proper nutrition planning.
